Save the date for Winter Discovery Day 2025!

Join us for the 2nd Annual: Winter Discovery Day! This event is being made possible by the Mat-Su Trails and Parks Foundation, the valley's local trails and parks resource. Revel is working as the event coordinator.

What is Winter Discovery Day?

If you didn't attend last year, Winter Discovery Day is a half-day event designed to connect locals to winter recreation opportunities and resources in the valley. Here is a little video from last year's event. The event is a space to offer free gear demonstrations, activities, share information, and enjoy the outdoors. 

Event details:

• When: Saturday, March 8 from 11AM-4PM

• Vendor set up: 9AM-11AM

• Where: Main event staging at Government Peak Recreation Area 

What we're looking for from vendors:

* Host a gear demonstration
* Have an info table about your organization, club, or sport
* Have gear available for people to borrow
* Bring hot drinks or a fire pit
