Free gear demonstrations, activity stations, giveaways, and more.
Join us for the 2nd Annual: Winter Discovery Day! This event is being made possible by the Mat-Su Trails and Parks Foundation with support from Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union, the Mat-Su Health Foundation, the People’s Paper, and the Mat-Su Borough. Revel is working as the event coordinator.
What is Winter Discovery Day?
Event attendees can expect a spread of free gear demonstrations - from fat bikes to snowshoes and sledding. In addition to gear there will be hot chocolate and fire pits spread out around the parking area. The event hopes to highlight different recreation opportunities in our area and will be a great way to connect with organizations that offer local, community programming.
