What to expect: Kierre will be chatting about remote trip planning, route planning and lessons learned from a Gates of the Arctic Trip this past summer. We will discuss some of the tools she and the crew used for trip planning, their preparation process and takeaways to help you put more tools in the toolbox for your Alaska adventures.

Who should attend: If you’re curious about backcountry trip planning, want to learn a bit about route planning or hear about Gates of the Arctic this event may be a good fit for you. If you plan to attend please RSVP here.

Cost: This is a free event. We’re using this as a test event to develop curriculum backpacking/trip planning course. Attendee feedback and ideas are welcome and encouraged.
