Day 0: Welcome to Alaska
On day 0, travel to Anchorage at your leisure. We’ll have an optional welcome dinner this evening.
Meet your guide(s), discuss the trip itinerary, and prepare yourself for the adventure of a lifetime!

Day 1: Eklutna Valley Adventures
Just to the north of Anchorage, the Eklutna Valley offers pristine wilderness in one of the state’s largest state parks.
We’ll enjoy a day of adventures around the lake and then head to cozy chalets tucked in the boreal forest.

Day 2: Glacier Excursion
Experience a glacier by foot or ATV ride. During this choose your own adventure day guests will have the option to visit either the Knik Glacier or the Matanuska Glacier.
We’ll regroup in historic downtown Palmer for local fare before heading back to our chalets for the evening.

Day 3: Taste of Talkeetna
We’ll travel north to Talkeetna, an iconic Railroad town and Denali climbing hub, offers unique insight into Alaska life and culture.
Sample local cuisine and soak in the scenery.

Day 4: Denali Flightseeing
In addition to its small town charm, Talkeetna offers unparalleled views of the Alaska Range on a clear day.
Enjoy a scenic flightseeing tour of Denali National Park and peruse the downtown shops at your leisure.

Day 5: Northward Bound
We’ll venture north to Denali National Park, home to Alaska’s big five: moose, caribou, bear, dall sheep, and wolves.
During the journey north we’ll stop to enjoy a hike in Denali State Park.

Day 6: Denali National Park Adventures
Guests will have another chooser your own adventure day today. Opt for a park bus tour or a scenic river float on the Nenana River.
There’s no wrong way to explore the surrounding wilderness!

Day 7: Return to Anchorage
On our final morning, we’ll enjoy time at the Denali Visitor Center or an optional morning hike.
Following our adventure, we’ll return to Anchorage and say our goodbyes.

All lodging beginning with Night 0 and ending on Night 6/Morning of Day 7. Itinerary includes queen rooms for hotel stays (2 guests per double queen) and a 3-person tent for the backpacking trip (2 guests per 3-person tent). Single accommodation can be provided for an additional fee.
All activities and transportation costs.
Excursion gratuities. While out on partner adventures, the Revel team ensures gratuities are distributed to partner operators.
All meals beginning with dinner on Day 0 and ending with lunch on Day 7. Alcoholic beverages are not included.

Travel to and from Alaska
Personal gear (clothing, toiletries, etc.) and a backpack for the backpacking trip. We prefer guests bring their own backpacks, but have rentals available if needed.

We anticipate this itinerary will be easy to moderately difficult for most travelers. Here are some things to consider when deciding if it’s a good fit:.
We recommend guests are experience and be able to comfortably walk/hike at least 5 miles.
Alaska’s weather is dynamic and we adventure rain or shine. Guests should be prepared for outdoor activities during inclement weather.
