Free Community Hike: Sponsored by Now Health

  • Gold Mint Trail Palmer, AK United States (map)

Registration required. There is no cost to join us, but we do ask you sign up so we don’t leave any stragglers behind at the trailhead! This event has been made possible by Now Health.

When: Saturday, March 29 at 1PM

Please arrive at the trailhead between 12:45PM and 1PM. We will begin our hike promptly at 1PM.

Where: We will meet at the Gold Mint Trailhead in Hatcher Pass.

About the hike and what to expect: We’ll be hiking at a leisurely pace for about 4 miles in total (2 miles out and 2 miles back). Hikers can expect a couple hundred feet of elevation gain up a mostly packed trail.

Event fees: This is a free community event. Thank you Now Health!

Parking: Please note participants are responsible for paying relevant parking fees.

Can I bring my pup? No. We ask you leave pups behind for this event, thanks for understanding.

A couple other notes: If you need help finding the trailhead or want to contact Revel prior to the event, please contact the team at 907-903-1664.

What to bring:

  • Comfortable & warm tennis/trail shoes or hiking boots

  • Ice cleats (we recommend Kahtoolas - they are available for purchase at AKtive Soles).

  • Winter gear (hats, mittens, scarves)

  • Rain gear or snow gear (as necessary)

  • Water and snacks as desired

A note on flexibility: The nature of adventuring outside requires some flexibility. We do our best to follow the itinerary as outlined, but we may need to shift plans for a variety of reasons. Safety is our priority and we use our best judgment when making trip adjustments.

Trip minimums: We require a minimum of 2 registered participants to run our community adventures. If a scheduled event is canceled due to low sign-ups, participants will receive a full refund or credit towards a future event. Adventure Club members can receive a credit towards future Revel events.

Weather: We rarely cancel due to inclement weather. Please bring gear to adventure in the elements. If you need to borrow something, let us know! We have lots of extra supplies and are happy to loan items out.
