Adventure Club members can attend this event as one of your free monthly adventures.
When: Monday, January 20 at 5:45PM
Please arrive at the trailhead between 5:45PM and 6PM. We will begin our ski promptly at 6PM.
*This event repeats at a different trail on the third Monday of each month during the winter*
Where: Independence Mine Trailhead (lower/winter lot)
About the snowshoe and what to expect: We’ll be snowshoeing at a leisurely pace for 1.5-3 miles (conditions pending). The difficulty of our snowshoeing events can vary greatly based on conditions. We will stick together as a group during the adventure.
At the trailhead, we will review snowshoeing basics. Then we’ll head out on the snow. If you're a more experienced snowshoer, consider joining and partnering with a new snowshoer at the event.
After the event, we’ll enjoy hot drinks at the trailhead.

What to bring:
Bring warm layers that you feel comfortable moving in

Bring a headlamp (we have extras you can borrow if needed!)
Winter gear (hats, mittens, scarves)
Rain gear or snow gear (as necessary)
Water and snacks as desired
A note on flexibility: The nature of adventuring outside requires some flexibility. We do our best to follow the itinerary as outlined, but we may need to shift plans for a variety of reasons. Safety is our priority and we use our best judgment when making trip adjustments.
Trip minimums: We require a minimum of 2 registered participants to run our community adventures. If a scheduled event is canceled due to low sign-ups, participants will receive a full refund or credit towards a future event. Adventure Club members can receive a credit towards future Revel events.
Weather: We rarely cancel due to inclement weather. Please bring gear to adventure in the elements. If you need to borrow something, let us know! We have lots of extra supplies and are happy to loan items out.
