Adventure Club members can attend this event as one of your free monthly adventures
When: Tuesday, January 21 at 12:45PM
Please arrive at the trailhead between 12:45PM and 1PM. We will begin our hike promptly at 1PM.
*This event repeats at different trails on the third Tuesday of each month*
Where: Moose Range Trails from the Wendt Rd. trailhead.
About the hike and what to expect: This afternoon walk/hike is designed for more 'seasoned' hikers. We'll be moving at a leisurely pace, chatting along the way. Hikers can expect to adventure for about 2 hours - sometimes these events are bit less, sometimes these activities are a bit more. Our objective is rarely a specific destination - but more about enjoying time in the outdoors.
The Moose Range trails are generally snow-machine-packed trails through low-lying swamp at the base of the Talkeetna Mountains. There is limited signage in this area.
After the event, we’ll enjoy hot drinks at the trailhead.
Event fees:
Adventure Club members may attend this event as part of their free, monthly events.
First-time attendees may attend this event for free.
All other guests, $12 per person to join this event. If you are interested in a scholarship, please fill out our short form using the button below.
Parking: Please note participants are responsible for paying relevant parking fees.
Can I bring my pup? No. For this particular event, we ask folks to leave pups behind. Thanks for understanding!
A couple other notes: If you need help finding the trailhead or want to contact Revel before the event, please contact the team at 907-903-1664.
What to bring:
Comfortable & warm tennis/trail shoes or hiking boots
Ice cleats (we recommend Kahtoolas - they are available for purchase at AKtive Soles).
Winter gear (hats, mittens, scarves)
Rain gear or snow gear (as necessary)
Water and snacks as desired
A note on flexibility: The nature of adventuring outside requires some flexibility. We do our best to follow the itinerary as outlined, but we may need to shift plans for a variety of reasons. Safety is our priority and we use our best judgment when making trip adjustments.
Trip minimums: We require a minimum of 2 registered participants to run our community adventures. If a scheduled event is canceled due to low sign-ups, participants will receive a full refund or credit towards a future event. Adventure Club members can receive a credit towards future Revel events.
Weather: We rarely cancel due to inclement weather. Please bring gear to adventure in the elements. If you need to borrow something, let us know! We have lots of extra supplies and are happy to loan items out.
