About the walk and what to expect: We’ll hike about 2-4 miles total. During this evening walk/hike we'll be moving at a leisurely pace, chatting along the way. Hikers can expect to adventure for about 2 hours - sometimes these events are a bit less, sometimes a bit more. Our objective is rarely a specific destination - but more about enjoying time in the outdoors.
Can I bring my pup? No. For this particular event, we ask folks to leave pups behind. Thanks for understanding!
What to bring:
Comfortable & warm tennis/trail shoes or hiking boots
Ice cleats (we recommend Kahtoolas - they are available for purchase at AKtive Soles).
A headlamp (we have extras you can borrow if needed!)
Winter gear (hats, mittens, scarves)
Rain gear or snow gear (as necessary)
Water and snacks as desired
A note on flexibility: The nature of adventuring outside requires some flexibility. We do our best to follow the itinerary as outlined, but we may need to shift plans for a variety of reasons. Safety is our priority and we use our best judgment when making trip adjustments.
Trip minimums: We require a minimum of 2 registered participants to run our community adventures. If a scheduled event is canceled due to low sign-ups, participants will receive a full refund or credit towards a future event. Adventure Club members can receive a credit towards future Revel events.
Weather: We rarely cancel due to inclement weather. Please bring gear to adventure in the elements. If you need to borrow something, let us know! We have lots of extra supplies and are happy to loan items out.

About Ladies Night Out(doors): Explore a local trail/area in the company of women! We hope these events will bring together women who are new to hiking and adventuring (or new to the area) with women who have some experience with outdoor adventuring. If you’re a seasoned adventurer open to mentoring a newer hiker or a new hiker looking for an outdoor mentor - let us know :)
